How we work · For clients

How a project
runs with AppsCraft

Start by telling us what you want to get done. We review your requirements, budget and timing, then look for a suitable contractor or freelancer. Once the arrangement is agreed, the partner carries out the work and AppsCraft remains your contact for progress, revisions and delivery.

  • You: explain what you need and approve the work
  • AppsCraft: arranges contractors or freelancers and coordinates delivery
  • Contractor or freelancer: completes the agreed work

Work out what you need

We talk through what the work is for, what you already have, and your budget and timing. Anything not yet decided goes on a separate list of open questions, so it isn’t mistaken for a requirement.

In this stage
  • Talk through what it’s for and what you want from it
  • Outline features and scope
  • Agree budget and timing
  • Keep open questions on their own list
You prepare
  • The problem you want solved
  • How you handle it today, plus any files or examples
  • A rough budget and timeframe

The contractor or freelancer submits the agreed stage results. AppsCraft tracks progress and organises questions, feedback and versions for review. Each stage is reviewed before the next agreed step.

Review and hand over

What you receive at the end is set out in a handover list, written into the scope before work starts. For a system it can include the source code or repository access, admin access, user notes and test results. We check each item on it, note anything still outstanding, then arrange the review and handover between you and the partner.

In this stage
  • Collect the items on the handover list
  • Check each one against what was agreed
  • List items that need follow-up
  • Keep records for later changes or updates
You prepare
  • Check the work against the brief
  • Sign off the handover
  • Tell us anything that needs doing later

  • You pay for each stage before it begins
  • AppsCraft pays the partner for a stage once you’ve approved it
  • If the work changes, any effect on scope, fees or timing is agreed first

The partner carries out the work

The contractor or freelancer completes the agreed tasks, provides stage results and updated versions, and responds to technical questions and confirmed feedback.

AppsCraft coordinates both sides

We follow milestones, consolidate questions and feedback, track agreed changes and organise the review and handover with you and the partner.

You review and confirm

You provide the required information, review the current version, confirm decisions and changes, and check the agreed deliverables at handover.

Before we start

Common questions

Anything not covered here can go in your brief.

Can we talk before the brief is complete?

Yes. Tell us the problem, how you handle it today and anything you’ve seen that’s close to what you want. We’ll help sort out priorities and the questions still to answer.

Who actually does the work?

The freelancer, software development company, advertising agency or specialist team agreed for the project. AppsCraft confirms the brief and working arrangement and coordinates communication, progress and delivery.

What if the requirements change?

Tell us what’s different. We check with the partner what it does to scope, timing and fees, and go ahead once you’ve agreed.

Can we start with something small?

Yes. You can start with a defined task or project stage. We confirm the scope and arrange a contractor or freelancer with relevant experience.

Let's discuss your project

Tell us what you want to get done and your preferred timing, and leave your contact details. We will follow up to clarify the requirements and discuss suitable working arrangements.
